Man hit by lorry in Cannock named as John Taylor

A man who died after being hit by a lorry in Cannock has been named locally as John Taylor.

The 43-year-old, of Cannock, was struck by the vehicle on Saturday as he crossed the A5 Watling Street, near B&Q.

An investigation has been launched by Staffordshire Police and officers are comforting his family.
