It is day four of our survey of Express & Star readers which seeks to get to the heart of the issues that matter to you and today we ask how safe you feel.
Crime is at its lowest for 10 years, according to the most recent figures, but we want to know what you think about your safety.
We want to know how many of our readers have been victims of crimes and how you feel about cuts to police budgets.
The latest figures would suggest that our region is safer than it has been for a very long time. But would you go out at night in the area where you live?
