A popular restaurant in Wolverhampton is to close for two weeks to undergo a major refurbishment, it was announced today.
Miller & Carter, in Penn, will shut its doors to the public early on Sunday evening.
The restaurant will be expanded with a new upstairs area being installed to cater for an extra 35 diners on top of the 165 it already seats.
A new kitchen is also being built during the revamp, before the restaurant reopens for diners on October 15.
Miller & Carter took over the former Penn Cottage site, in Stourbridge Road, in 2006.
The steakhouse chain has 27 restaurants across the UK, including one in Birmingham’s popular Mailbox district.Subscribe to our Newsletter
