Body found in Walsall car fire

A police probe has been launched after a body was discovered in a car which was engulfed in flames in Walsall.

A cordon was set up around Spout Lane, following the grim discovery at around midday yesterday.

Shocked residents were alerted when flames could be seen coming from the vehicle, believed to be a Toyota.

Officers have launched an investigation into the death although it is not believed to be suspicious.
