Rugeley Power Station fire alert

Workers at Rugeley Power Station had to be evacuated when a gas cylinder caught fire.
A 50ft cordon was put around an engineering workshop at the site off the A51 for almost four hours.
Around 15 members of staff were evacuated from the building until around 2.50pm while the acetylene cylinder was cooled.
A total of 23 firefighters were sent to the scene.
