Four are held on Walsall brothel tragedy
Wednesday 25th January 2012, 11:00AM GMT.
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of keeping a brothel in Walsall after a pensioner died there of a suspected heart attack.
Police were called to a house in Marsh Street where the 73-year-old man was found collapsed.
He was pronounced dead a short time later and a post mortem is being carried out to determine the cause of death.
It is not being treated as suspicious.
Two men and two women were arrested at the scene on suspicion of keeping or managing a brothel and have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police have confirmed that one of the suspected “madams” is of Chinese origin.
Officers and paramedics were called to the scene, which is near the town’s New Art Gallery, at 3.40pm last Tuesday.
Police say officers continue to support the pensioner’s family.
