Man’s body found near Walsall canal

The body of a man has been discovered close to a canal in Walsall.
Police and forensic officers were called to Bentley Mill Way on the border of Darlaston and Bentley, near to the Showcase Cinema.
Police today said they are not treating the death as suspicious and the case has been handed to the coroner.
The discovery was made at around 8.50am yesterday, prompting the area to be sealed off for forensic investigations.
