M6 crash near Walsall causes hold-ups

A two-car collision caused long tailbacks on the M6 near Walsall during rush hour today.
The crash at about 7.30am, blocked the outside lane of the northbound carriageway between junctions 10 at Walsall and 10A for the M54 at Essington.
There were tailbacks to junction eight for the M5.
The motorway was also congested in the opposite direction between junctions 11 and eight due to repairs.
