40 jobs at new-look £1.5m Walsall club for Easter

A new-look £1.5 million nightclub in Walsall is poised to open by Easter, creating up to 40 new jobs.
The former Studio 45 is set to relaunch in April.
This is after a complete re-fit by new owners Capital Leisure.
Work to transform the empty Bridge Street nightspot has been taking place the last 18 months to create a premier club.
Bosses are looking to have the two-floor venue with three rooms completed inside the next few months. It is anticipated the venture will create 30 to 40 jobs. It is yet to be named by chiefs.
Capital Leisure managing director Suki Samra said: “We are looking for an Easter opening. Works are still progressing but we have totally rebuilt the inside. It will be a state-of-the-art building and rival some of the top clubs in the UK.”
The former Studio 45 closed in 2007 on police advice. It was previously operated by Punch Taverns and there was a failed attempt to relaunch the club under the name of Ignite just over a year later.
Its re-opening is another boost for the town’s economy after the opening of the Las Vegas-inspired Vogue earlier this year.
It also emerged yesterday a 300-seat buffet restaurant bringing 50 jobs is planned for the ex-Chicago Rock Cafe. It will be transformed into Fiesta World Buffet and Bar.
