They include more than 80 stolen TVs, hundreds of items of clothing and up to 50 laptop computers worth thousands of pounds.
The storeroom holds four huge boxes of goods looted from Wolverhampton’s Sunitek.com computer store, in Broad Street. The cost of stock taken and damage caused totalled £50,000 and left owner Sham Sharma on the brink of closure.
Police are holding items including keyboards, mobile phones and computer accessories from the shop as they continue in their bid to identify more offenders.
Today, officers sent a warning shot to yobs who took part in the violence and may believe they have got away with it.
“It may be four months since the riots but we are continuing to identify and pursue those who were involved,” said Det Insp Mark Rushton. “Many may think they have got away with it, but they haven’t.”
More 50 officers are still involved with the riot investigation. So far 716 have been arrested and 163 have been charged and dealt with by the courts.
