During the month of November, men from all around the globe grow a moustache to raise money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.

Joining in that Movember challenge are nineteen members of staff from Wolverhampton City Council.

They have spent one whole month trimming and grooming their masterpieces raising a total of £1,200.

Few have become attached, with the majority eager to shave them off.

But before they do we called in an expert to judge who reigned whiskers above the rest. And who better for the job than someone who has grown theirs for 40 years, Mayor of Wolverhampton Cllr Bert Turner.

The winner for the best grower went to Mark Amesbury.
