Walsall’s H Samuel hit by ram raid
Monday 21st November 2011, 11:00AM GMT.
Ramraiders escaped with a haul of jewellery after smashing their way into a store in Walsall town centre today.
The attack happened at H. Samuel in Park Street in the early hours.
A Mitsubishi Pajero was driven into the shop front.
It was then left at the scene as the raiders fled in another vehicle with the stolen jewellery.
Forensic officers were at the store this morning as investigations continue into the raid, which happened at around 4.23am. A witness who saw the attack called the police.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 0345 113 5000.
