A furniture store has been reopened seven months after apparently shutting down for good.

Customers queued for the relaunch of the Brian James store in Walsall Road, Cannock, on Saturday. The old Brian James store shut in March after 35 years in the town and the premises have been bought by Perry Barr-based NCF.

New beds and bedroom furniture and carpets and flooring departments have been created in a £1 million refit.

Cannock Chase MP Aidan Burley was invited to perform the grand opening.
