In Wolverhampton, people pay £800 to have an adult grave dug, compared with £710 in 2007/2008. The biggest rise was in Stafford, where costs soared by £290 from £464 to £754.

In Sandwell an adult grave costs £666 compared with £611 in 2007.  The cheapest grave plots are in Dudley where prices have risen by £155 from £450 to £605.
