Fury as ‘mindless’ yobs slash tyres in Stafford street
Friday 28th October 2011, 11:29AM BST.
Yobs left a trail of destruction on a Staffordshire road after slashing tyres outside homes, causing hundreds of pounds of damage.
Police are investigating the incident involving at least eight vehicles on the Newport Road in Stafford. Neighbours discovered the damage when they tried to leave for work yesterday.
One of the residents who had a car tyre slashed said he was “furious” at what had happened, leaving him, and many neighbours out of pocket.
Robert Lainton, a self employed carpenter who lives on the street, said they only noticed the following morning after another neighbour had texted him.
Anyone with information should call 0300 1234455 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Cowards. I hope someone has a camera and films them committing these offenses – remember what happened in London when someone robbed an injured man? Not big or clever now are they. Do the same here, and catch those responsible. Gutless morons.
