Ex-rugby player Mike Ward would have beefed up any scrum when he weighed in at a massive 26 stone 12lbs. But the 25-year-old has kicked his unhealthy lifestyle into touch and shed 10 stone in just a year.
Ex-rugby player Mike Ward would have beefed up any scrum when he weighed in at a massive 26 stone 12lbs.
But the 25-year-old has kicked his unhealthy lifestyle into touch and shed 10 stone in just a year while trimming his waist size by 16 inches. Mike decided enough was enough in September last year when he tipped the scales at his heaviest and joined a gym.
His 6ft 3ins frame had ballooned when he gave up playing rugby at the age of 17, and piling on the pounds meant his waist measured a mighty 54 inches.
Mike, from Coghlan Drive, Stafford, admitted to being too fond of pizza and chips swilled down with beer and vodka Red Bull on nights out with mates.
