Hednesford soldier Alison’s photos scoop prizes

Dramatic pictures of soldiers in Afghanistan have won prizes for a member of the Territorial Army from Staffordshire.
Sergeant Alison Baskerville, aged 36, from Hednesford, scooped two accolades in the Army Photographic Competition. Click on the image to the right.
The former Kingsmead High School pupil claimed first prize in the professional portrait and operational categories for images taken during a recent deployment to Afghanistan.
She only enlisted in the TA last year, joining as a Royal Logistic Corps Photographer in the Media Operations Group.
