Train-ing Abigail’s long jump for joy

An Olympic hopeful long jumper visited Wolverhampton to unveil a train that has been named after her.
Long jumper Abigail Irozuru was at Wolverhampton railway station to see her name on the front and back of the Virgin Pendolino train.
The 21-year-old said it was a “surreal” moment. “I was contacted by Virgin to ask if I wanted a train to be named after me,” she said.
“I thought it was a brilliant idea.”n named after her in June at Wolverhampton rail station.
