Meals on wheels to scrap fresh food
Thursday 29th September 2011, 11:30AM BST.
Pensioners in Wolverhampton will have to pay to have frozen dinners re-heated under a shake-up of meals on wheels in the city, it was announced today
Wolverhampton City Council wants to do away with preparing hot meals each day and keeping them warm, in a bid to save £390,000 next year.

They also want to offer the service to people in neighbouring boroughs so that it removes the need for a taxpayer-funded subsidy.
