Couple tell of anguish at puppies theft

A dog-breeding couple today spoke of their horror after finding nine eight-week old puppies had been stolen from their Midland kennels.

Will and Sue Clulee returned to Poolgreen Gundogs at Farlow, near Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire, on Thursday to find one puppy left from two litters after thieves forced a lock on a kennel block during the afternoon.

The puppy was running around on the driveway – and has since been named Lucky.

The stolen puppies were all due to be sent to new homes within days, with some travelling as far as Australia, Sweden and France. The couple have also offered a £1,000 reward for information leading tio the arrest and convicmtion of the offenders and the return of the puppies.
