New £3m health centre for Pensnett
Tuesday 26th July 2011, 5:00PM BST.
Plans for a new £3million health centre in Pensnett offering a GP surgery and specialist treatments have been unveiled.
The complex in High Oak would offer services such as physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and midwifery.
NHS Dudley, which is behind the scheme, hopes to submit a planning application to the council by December.
Construction work is expected to take 40 weeks and health chiefs hope to have the new building open to the public by September 2013.
Early designs for the centre, which will house High Oak Surgery, have been drawn up and residents are now being asked for their views and suggestions.
The plans can be viewed at Pharmacy Gallariea, High Oak Surgery, Brierley Hill Library, Kingswinford Medical Practice and Pensnett Community Centre.
People will be able to fill in a short questionnaire.
