Man jailed for infecting Black Country lover

A man who maliciously infected his Black Country lover with the deadly HIV virus was this afternoon jailed for four years.
Nkosinathi Mabanda, aged 44, previously pleaded guilty to one charge of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on an unnamed Walsall woman.
Mabanda, of Tixall Road, Stafford, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
