Few Take That fans will come close to matching the love of the fab five than Jenny Jones, from Dudley – who has snapped up four VIP tickets to see the band courtesy of the Express & Star.

The lucky 31-year-old is a self-confessed fanatic of the band and is brimming with excitement to be seeing them at Villa Park tonight. She was picked at random as winner of the competition in the Express & Star from a total of more than 2,800 entries.

Jenny has never missed a tour by Take That and has seen the band live in concert at least 14 times.

As a teenager she followed the group religiously and her bedroom wall was plastered in posters.

Her obsession has now continued into adulthood along with long-term friend and fellow Take That aficionado Marie O’Toole, aged 33.

The pair have met members of the group several times, skipping a week at school in 1994 when the group stayed at the Copthorne Hotel, in Dudley.

After the group broke up, mother-of-two Jenny and Marie managed to spend hours with Howard Donald when he was a DJ at the Custard Factory.

The pair pretended to be pizza delivery staff in order to get back stage where they sat with Howard and watched him perform. Jenny has also queued for hours to meet Gary Barlow in London.

She said: “I do wonder if we are cool or actually just really sad but I am a big fan and I’ve followed them since I was 13. Mark is my favourite. He is the most attractive and I love all his solo stuff as well.

“When I found out I had won I was stunned, but the more I talk about it the more excited I get.”
