Bambi and friend venture into town

They are usually spotted roaming the woodlands of Cannock Chase. But two adventurous deer have now been seen in a residential street close to the hustle and bustle of Walsall town centre.
The animals have been turning up in Borneo Street in The Butts. Wildlife workers in the borough today said there had been several sightings.
Office worker Mike Smith is one of the lucky people to have spotted the deer – and he managed to get an early-morning photograph of them grazing on a patch of land in the sunshine last week.
Mr Smith, who lives in one of the streets nearby, was alerted to their presence by his wife, who spotted them while out walking the couple’s dog.
