Homes plan for college campus site

Up to 80 homes could be built on the site of a Black Country college campus under plans revealed today.
Dudley College is applying for planning permission for housing. College bosses want to build the properties on the Mons Hill campus site.
The college wants to sell off all of its out-of-town campuses including Wolverhampton Street and Castle View as part of £30 million plans to create a “learning quarter” in Dudley.
Teaching buildings on the Mons Hill site off Wrens Hill Road would be bulldozed to prepare the land.
Mons Hill accommodates the college’s construction, hair and beauty, arts, design and performance courses.
