School trip girl mauled by a dog

An 11-year-old girl was mauled by a dog during a school trip to a popular park in Wolverhampton.
The attack happened at Bantock Park in Finchfield where the youngster and her classmates were visiting.
The girl suffered serious leg injuries and was taken by ambulance to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton.
She has since been released but police were today investigating the attack, which happened at around 11.05am yesterday.
