Man found tied up at firm hit by raid gang
Wednesday 25th May 2011, 12:30PM BST.
A man was found tied up following a raid at a Sandwell firm early today.
The man was discovered at Martin Fasteners in Hainge Road, Tividale at 6.11am.
Police have now launched an investigation into the raid which it is believed may have involved a vehicle being driven into a wall. Officers remained at the scene this afternoon. A cordon was also in place.
The firm today declined to comment on the raid and it was unclear what had been used to smash the wall, whether anything had been taken and if it was a member of staff that had been injured.
Anyone with information should contact Force CID in Sandwell on 0345 113 5000.
