Life lived at the double as twins’ lives mirrored

Identical twins Caroline Paxton and Liz Cooke are used to sharing milestones.

The 28-year-olds, born four minutes apart, went to the same school and college and have identical degrees from the same university.

They had a joint wedding, both joined the police and drive the same model car. Now both are expecting their second child.

Caroline, of Meadowcroft Park, Stafford, is married to James Paxton, 37, a Fujitsu quality manager. Liz and safety consultant husband, Dan Cooke, live in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Caroline’s Alexandra was born in July and Liz’s Joseph in October.
