Around £10,000 worth of cannabis on the verge of flooding the Black Country’s street drug trade was seized by police in a dramatic raid.
Officers stormed two properties in Tipton — uncovering a large cannabis factory in the back bedroom of an ordinary semi-detached house.
It means a total £50,000 worth of the class B drug has now been seized in police operations in the Princes End area of the town in the past nine months.
The cannabis factory was found on the first floor of the house in Central Avenue at around 5.15pm yesterday.
Ventilation tubing, heating lights and fans were found in the room along with 30 mature cannabis plants.
