Metal raid at Wolverhampton school

Metal thieves caused around £6,000 of damage by stealing underground electricity cables from a Wolverhampton school.
Fifty metres of concrete slabs were ripped up at South Wolverhampton and Bilston Academy by thieves, who then made off with live electricity cable from underneath them.
The theft at the school in Prosser Street, Bradley, took place between 6.30pm on Thursday and 6.45am yesterday.
