Showers on way

Monday 25th April 2011, 11:29AM BST.

Glorious weekend sunshine will give way to cloudy skies and cooler temperatures this week after the hottest Easter for 60 years.

Temperatures in the Midlands peaked at 75F (24C) yesterday and meant this month is likely to go down as the driest April since records began.

And there was a warning of light rain tonight ahead of showers and more grey skies until the end of the week.
