Gazza to host dinner in aid of Compton Hospice
Friday 25th March 2011, 8:00PM GMT.
England legend Paul Gascoigne will take centre stage in the Black Country to talk about his battle with addiction, it was revealed today.
Gazza will face questions from the audience as part of a tour created by the treatment centre where he has spent the last three months.
The 43-year-old will be at the Copthorne Hotel, in Merry Hill, for a dinner event in aid of Wolverhampton’s Compton Hospice on September 22. It will be held in the middle of a tour by Gazza and Jimmy Greaves.
Gazza said: “I’ll be talking about what people have seen during my career, some of the goals and some of the more daft things I’ve done.”
Tickets for the dinner cost £65 each or £600 for a table of 10. VIP tickets cost £950 for a table of 10.
