Pensioner dies after being hit by Audi TT

A pensioner died after being knocked down by a car while a motorist had be cut free from his wrecked vehicle in separate road accidents in Staffordshire.
The woman in her 70s suffered head injuries after being hit by an Audi TT in John Street, Wimblebury, near Heath Hayes, at 8.36 last night. She died in hospital.
In the second accident, firefighters cut free a driver from his silver BMW after a collision with a lorry on the A5 near Brewood at about 5am today. The car ended up trapped under the trailer of the lorry.
