Wolverhampton roadworks delay warning

Two weeks of roadworks get under way this weekend on one of Wolverhampton’s busiest commuter routes.
Temporary traffic lights will be used as part of resurfacing work on Willenhall Road, between its junction with Deans Road and Old Heath Road.
Pothole-ridden red Tarmac used in the bus lane will also be replaced by regular black asphalt, which is less prone to winter decay.
Motorists are warned to expect delays.
