Art lovers will be taken on a tour around one of Wolverhampton Art Gallery’s latest exhibitions this weekend.
Visitors to the Lichfield Street venue will be shown around the Journey into the Contemporary Collection – Part 2 by curator Zoë Lippett on Saturday.
The event is free and runs from 2 -2.30pm.
The Journey into the Contemporary Collection opened at the gallery in December and runs until next Saturday, February 5.
It features a group of works on the subject of travel, journeys and discovery.Visitors can view road trip-inspired pieces by artists Lisa Milroy and Jeremy Deller, as well as works recording the travelling community by internationally renowned British photographer, Tom Hunter.
The Journey into the Contemporary Collection – Part 1, which consisted largely of installation pieces, closed at the gallery in December.
