Wolverhampton murder probe as body found

A murder investigation was under way this afternoon after the body of a woman was discovered at a house in Wolverhampton.
The 40-year-old victim was found at a house in Newhampton Road West, Whitmore Reans, just before 7pm last night.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody this afternoon held on suspicion of murder.
