Thursday 28th October 2010, 11:29AM BST.

More than 100 cannabis plants have been seized by police who swooped at a house in Stourport.

Officers raided the house, in Lion Hill, after receiving a tip-off from members of the public.

Drug paraphernalia, including hydroponic equipment, was also found at the house.

A man was arrested yesterday in connection with the seizure on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and possession of the drug with intent to supply.

He has been questioned by officers at Kidderminster Police Station and released on police bail until November 23 pending further inquiries.

Officers confirmed they had attended the address after receiving calls from concerned members of the public.

Anyone with information on illegal drugs is asked to contact police on 0300 333 3000.
