A shop unit in Wolverhampton city centre has been transformed into a 1940s living room as part of a nostalgic project looking at the history of dance halls.
Former members of Central Youth Theatre have decorated City 10, the former visitor information centre in Queen Square, with old fashioned carpets and furniture.
They have also put photographs of some of the city’s most popular dance halls on the walls. People who regularly attended dances from the 1940s to the 1970s are invited to visit City 10.
The shop opens at 10am from Monday to Saturday until October 2.
