Coseley cash machine guard robbed at gunpoint

A security guard was threatened with a gun and robbed as he re-stocked a Black Country cash machine during daylight.

The raiders struck at the cash machine outside the Premier Express Shop in Birmingham New Road, Coseley at 11.30am yesterday.

The guard handed over the cash box, which contained more than £1,000.

No shots were fired. Witnesses are asked to call 0345 113 5000.
