Wolverhampton Marathon preparations near end

Final preparations were today being made for tomorrow’s Wolverhampton Marathon, with drivers warned to avoid the city.
The route starts and finishes in West Park. Park Road East and West, and Albert Road, will be closed from 8.15am.
Parts of Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton Ring Road, Waterloo Road and Newhampton Road East will be closed or restricted from 8.30am to about 10am.
Hordern Road from Court Road to Aldersley Road will be made one-way from 9am.
Aldersley Road from the junction with Hordern Road to Oxley Moor Road will be closed from 9am.
Oxley Moor Road from Green Lane to Blaydon Road will be closed and Lower Street will be one-way from Aldersley Road to The Rock.
