Midlands men arrested as EDL in clash

Three men from the Black Country and Birmingham were arrested during protests by a right-wing group and their opponents.
Bottles, stones and a smoke bomb were thrown as trouble erupted between English Defence League (EDL) supporters and the Unite Against Fascism (UAF) group in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the men arrested were from Walsall, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. A coach full of EDL supporters arrived in the city from Dudley.
Ten other men were arrested, including eight from Bradford and the others from Wakefield and Leeds.
An EDL supporter suffered leg injuries, while a police officer reported receiving a minor injury.
