Tuesday 27th July 2010, 10:00PM BST.
Restaurant chain Nando’s is looking to open another branch in Wolverhampton in a move that could create dozens of jobs.
The firm, which already has a branch at Queen Street in the city centre, has submitted a planning application to allow it to open another restaurant at the Bentley Bridge Retail Park in Wednesfield.
Company bosses said today if all goes well it is hoped the restaurant will be open by mid-November.
There have been a flurry of new openings at the site in recent months including budget supermarket chain Aldi, AMF Bowling and Pure Gym, the Midlands’ first 24-hour gym.
Restaurant chain Cosmo has also opened its doors at the site over the last few weeks creating 38 jobs.
