Black Country murder suspect Luke Walker could be out of a Greek jail within 15 days, with his latest bail application going before the courts today.

Walker, aged 22, from Brierley Hill, has been in custody in Crete for almost 10 weeks, accused of beating his girlfriend Chelsea Hyndman, aged 20, to death.

The application, submitted yesterday afternoon, will be examined for the first time by the prosecutor today, who will make a decision between now and August 12.

Walker claims Miss Hyndman was injured when she fell heavily on a beer glass on a girls’ night out.
