Children hurt in crashes
Thursday 27th May 2010, 11:30AM BST.
Two children were injured, one of them seriously, in road accidents in Staffordshire and Wolverhampton.
A five-year-old boy suffered multiple injuries when he was knocked down by a van near Stafford at 6.30pm yesterday.
His condition was described as “very serious”. A 10-year-old girl was hurt when she fell off her bike after colliding with a car on the Bridgnorth Road in Compton at 4.10pm yesterday.
She was taken to New Cross Hospital.
