Birmingham’s tallest skyscraper is set to be built in three years after plans were approved.
Costing £125 million, the Regal Tower is expected to be the tallest building outside of London and is set to transform the skyline of the city.
Council planning chiefs approved plans for the 656ft high 56-storey tower yesterday.
It will be built on the corner of Broad Street and Sheepcote Street.
The development will include a 289-bed luxury hotel, 256 apartments and three floors of luxury penthouses.
