Woman dies in car crash
Wednesday 10th March 2010, 10:30AM GMT.
A woman has died in a car crash in Staffordshire.
The car collided with a lamp post and a brick wall in residential cul-de-sac Travellers Close, in Chasetown, at around 11.40 last night.
An ambulance crew and an incident support officer attended the crash scene and worked with fire crews to free the woman who was trapped inside the car, but she could not be saved and was declared dead at the scene.
No other vehicle was involved. The dead woman has not yet been named.
