Sainsbury’s launch date in village

Sainsbury’s today announced its first supermarket in a South Staffordshire village will open on March 10.
The branch in Wombourne is creating more than 200 jobs.
Work started last June to transform a former factory at Heath Mill Road industrial estate.
Manager Mick Webb said: “I look forward to welcoming customers and want to thank residents and people working on the estate for their patience during the construction process.”
