A woman became impaled on a spiked fence after trying to take a shortcut through the yard of a Black Country car sales garage.
Kelly Flavell, aged 24, was returning from a family party with her boyfriend, when they decided to climb over the fence at Steve Smith Motor Company in Netherton, Dudley, say police.
Miss Flavell slipped and impaled her right thigh on the railings at 1.30am yesterday. Firefighters were asked to release her.
The woman suffered “very serious” but not life threatening injuries.
