Tools in van are snatched

Thousands of pounds of power tools were taken by thieves who broke into three vans on the same day in the Wyre Forest area.

One of the vans was parked off Castle Street, Cookley, and the other two on car parks outside shops in Green Street, Kidderminster. They were all broken into between around 11.30am and noon on Tuesday, police said today.

Power tools worth several thousand pounds were taken from one of the vans while a briefcase containing sunglasses, cheque book and other personal belongings were taken from another.
