Schoolboy’s birthday gifts stolen
Thursday 4th February 2010, 7:00PM GMT.
A schoolboy returned from his ninth birthday party to find crooks had stolen his presents and ransacked his home.
Bayley Moore was devastated to discover his bedroom had been turned upside down by burglars who broke in through a back door of the house in Stanley Street, Bloxwich, Walsall, on Tuesday. He had out with friends to the cinema and a celebratory meal at McDonald’s.
The Blakenall Heath Junior school pupil returned to find his new Playstation 3 console and a number of computer games had been stolen, as well as cash in birthday cards and jewellery from elsewhere in the house.
Grandmother Deborah Lavin, aged 47, appealed to those responsible to return the gifts.
She said: “It’s scared him half to death and he’s absolutely distraught. He hasn’t stopped shaking since it happened. The police said they think it’s someone who saw them all going out and decided to take their chance.
“It wasn’t that late, so someone must have seen them. Hopefully, they will have a conscience when they see who they have taken this from.”
Bayley said: “It made me feel really sad. I just want them to bring it all back.”
West Midlands Police spokeswoman Jaspreet Jagdev said: “Officers are investigating a burglary in Stanley Street on February 2.
“A number of items were stolen including games consoles.”

This is rotten, unfortunatley a indication of todays world. when it happend to us the advice from the police was get yourself to your local pawnshop, the one in the high st, I do hope you get at least some of it back, and that the thieves get what’s coming to them.

disgusting, the reason why people do this sort of thing is because they know they can get away with a slap on the wrist. hope he gets his presents back.

Problem is the **** that do this have no conscience just a lust for self gratification. Eventually we will no doubt hear of a court case and a defence story about feeding a drug habit, or a poor homelife, together with a string of offences. Then we will get the supportive posts suggesting “they are only kids” etc which we have all seen on here before. About time this circle was broken.
